Job Description:

This position is responsible for leading the company in expanding its franchise portfolio, which primarily includes restaurant style franchises. President should have extensive knowledge of real estate, proven record of growing companies and managing multi unit, multi dimensional operations. The position will oversee growth and financial success of GramCor Corporation’s franchise portfolio; expand the company through proper site selection and lease negotiations; financing new franchise locations; construction management; and supporting and working closely with other executives and senior managers to ensure strategic goals are met or exceeded. This position is responsible for the overall financial health of the company, the execution of strategic growth plans, and developing company culture. Directly oversees Vice President Operations, and Vice President Training and Culture. May oversee additional employees as company expands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Oversee performance measures to ensure operation within approved budgets and achievement of corporate financial goals; source and identify new individual franchise locations; source and identify new portfolio opportunities; prepare business case presentation for new operations; source local trade and contractors for on time delivery of projects; drive organizational excellence in operations and customer service; source, develop, and lead all executive and senior management required to effectively and efficiently operate the company; act as liaison between corporate offices and franchise locations while working to enhance and enforce human resources, operational, and accounting procedures to ensure compliance; leading work on new projects and transitioning new franchise openings to operations group/VP Operations; financial management of company. Regular travel to individual franchise locations for inspections, evaluation of customer service levels, and overall performance. Any other duties deemed necessary for successful operation of company.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to work at franchise locations using standard restaurant equipment and small-wares. May be required to lift heavy equipment and endure long hours sitting or standing in a hot kitchen environment. Must be able to move throughout different properties to perform visual inspections for long periods of time. Must be able to independently travel long distances. Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, printers, file cabinets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: One (1) month of training in the Franchisor Training Program is required. Applicant must have a minimum of 120 months of experience In restaurant development or equivalent.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Master’s Business Administration or equivalent

SERVSAFE CERTIFICATION PER STATE LAW; PROFICIENCY IN MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE; EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, TIME MANAGEMENT, AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS; KNOWLEDGE OF POS AND HR SOFTWARE, AND RESTAURANT P&L.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Daily travel to individual franchise locations for inspections, evaluation of customer service levels, and overall performance. May be required to travel to corporate offices as needed. Areasof travel will include states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, as well as Florida, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wisconsin. Otherlocations may be required as franchises expand.
