Job Description:
Responsible for overall growth and financial success of GramCor Corporation’s franchise portfolio, primarily including restaurant style franchises. Will assist in evaluating future acquisitions and managing new franchise location openings. The VP of Operations will directly oversee each individual franchise location’s management and indirectly supervise front line staff to meet or exceed strategic goals. This position is responsible for overall financial results for each individual franchise location, as well as the development and execution of strategies that support, strengthen, and grow the quality of customer service, customer service scores, efficiency, and profitability for each location. Will be responsible for overall individual franchise location maintenance and corporate culture.
Reports directly to President. Directly Supervises management at each individual franchise location. Indirectly supervises front line staff at each individual franchise location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Oversee performance measurements to ensure each individual franchise location operates within approved budgets; drive organizational excellence in operations and customer service; direct franchise management in revenue growth, market share performance, and sales initiatives to achieve desired outcomes; source and develop effective management; act as liaison between individual franchise locations and corporate offices while working to enhance and enforce human resources, operational, and accounting procedures; provide oversight on special projects, transitions, and new location openings; identify and enhance synergies between franchise locations to maximize buying power, streamline operations, and encourage communication between management; ensure operating plans and budgets for each franchise location are completed on a timely basis and management is successful in implementing plans for maximum performance; design and implement weekly operating reviews for operational and financial performance of each location to be presented to President. develop a cost-effective approach to repair, maintenance, and construction services; regularly travel to each individual franchise location for inspections, evaluation of customer service levels, and overall performance. Other duties as assigned by President.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to work at franchise locations using standard restaurant equipment and small-ware. May be required to lift heavy equipment and endure long hours sitting or standing in a hot kitchen environment. Must be able to move throughout different properties to perform visual inspections for long periods of time. Must be able to independently travel long distances. Role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, printers, filing cabinets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: One (1) month of training in the Franchisor Training Program is required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Health Sciences & Kinesiology and/or Master’s in Business Administration
SERVSAFE CERTIFICATION PER STATE LAW; PROFICIENCY IN MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE; EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, TIME MANAGEMENT, AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS; KNOWLEDGE OF POS & HR SOFTWARE, AND RESTAURANT P&L.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Daily travel to individual franchise locations for inspections, evaluation of customer service levels, and overall performance. Areas of travel will include North Carolina, South Carolina, andVirginia, as well as Florida, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wisconsin. Locations may vary as franchises expand.
